Reuse some glass/plastic food containers (butter/spices/baby food) for organizing miscellaneous items (screws/transistors/etc.), A snake light (or other adjustable light), and something to hang wires/cords from (A curtain rod, perhaps... keeps gravity from pulling things off the workbench).
